It’s almost that time of year when we turn up to see those magnificent men & women in their flying machines and augment the aviation spectacular with our own magnificent machines!
The Scottish International Air Show takes place this weekend (Sat 1st September – Sunday 2nd September) on the Low Green, Ayr.
As always with events on this scale, timings for entry / exit are strictly adhered to and we must play our part in assisting with the smooth running by complying so to that end, here are the instructions for club members showing vehicles:
Entry is by the Wellington Square end of the green and all vehicles MUST be in place by 9:00am.
No vehicle movement will be allowed on the site between 9:00am & 6:00pm (show hours)
Our ‘pitch’ is noted on the map shown below and arrowed in red.
All members should have received an email from Francis with these and further arrangements on it – If you haven’t, please contact him by clicking ‘HERE’
All vehicles owners booked to display will have received an entry ticket for each day – please ensure you bring this as it will be required to get past security!
Again, if you believe you are booked but haven’t received a ticket, contact George Brown by clicking ‘HERE’
We look forward to a spectacular weekend as always and hope the viewing public come out in force to support this great Scottish event and enjoy all the machinery on show both on the ground & in the air!
P.S. Any members who are available at 6:00pm on Friday to help with set up will be warmly (and hopefully dryly) welcomed 😉
