Saturday May 11th saw 24 club members convene at a car park in Stevenston to travel in convoy to Largs and take the ferry across the water to Sunny Millport for the 2019 Classic Car Event.
As always, ACCC boasted an interesting & diverse mix of Classic, Retro & Modern vehicles that would enhance this already great event. The weather stayed with us all day and some rather sunburned faces were on display come the end of the event.
The cars were parked up in the Garrison House gardens and those who attended were treated to not only the assembled vehicles in the sunshine but to a fabulous model railway display, some exotic motorcycles and even a sextet of bagpipers!
You might even have noticed the drone flying overhead; here is some of the excellent footage of the day that it captured.
Once the show had concluded, it was back to the ferry to queue for our return to the mainland and a get together that Andrew Paterson had arranged for the members where we talked cars into the early evening.
Warm thanks go to Andrew for his incredible hospitality and to Brian for organising our first ‘Static Event’ of the season!
