MOT Extensions – Coronavirus Update

MOT due from March 30th – Coronavirus Update

With the current advice to ‘Socially Isolate’, many of us will be taking the opportunity to do so in our garages if we’re lucky enough to have access to one and in any event, doing those last few tasks to ensure the vehicles are roadworthy should the season ever get underway….

A good proportion of our vehicles are MOT exempt but we’ll possibly have a ‘daily’ that isn’t, so with that in mind, we thought we’d share the latest update from the Government with regards to cars, motorbikes & ‘light vehicles’.

Following on from the recent decision to give a six month extension to commercial vehicles with an MOT falling due, they have extended the same six month extension to cover cars etc.

As always, the caveat is that your road vehicle should remain roadworthy at all times – this should go without saying!

Stay safe & stay road legal !
