The Virtual NEC Classic Car Show goes live today!

9am – Welcome to the show

Our host Mike Brewer goes live from the empty hall of the NEC to give you a run down of the day’s activity and how you can get involved.

9.30am – Silverstone Auctions

Recorded before the lockdown, Mike gives us a preview of the cars featured in the Silverstone Auctions sale, the big sellers from the Friday, and the cars still up for grabs on Saturday.  

10.30am – Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership

The finalists of the virtual version of the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership competition are revealed and voting opens – with you deciding who the winner is.

11.15am – Car Clubs Showcase

The first club showcase highlighting some of the cars that the exhibiting car clubs intended to display this year, with a mix of videos and photos.

11.45am – 11.45am – Classic World’s Motor Show Memories

The editors of Classic World and some of Kelsey Publishing’s classic titles share their memories of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show over the years. 

12pm – FBHVC

The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs shares its ‘virtual village’ with updates on the work of the FBHVC, its partners, the work it is doing and the cars they would have displayed.

12.30pm – Practical Classics Project Cars

The team from Practical Classics give us an update on some of the charity project cars they have in their workshop including the VW Camper and Reliant Rebel, both sponsored by Lancaster Insurance.

1pm – Sporting Bears

The Sporting Bears Motor Club give an insight into the incredible work they do, the charities that have benefitted from the money raised from the Dream Rides and how you can support them.

1.30pm – Meguiar’s Club Showcase

The guys from Meguiar’s UK share their NEC memories including their favourite Club Showcase cars and the roles they have at the show, both on and off the stand.

2pm – Lancaster Insurance

Our headline sponsor, Lancaster Insurance reflect on its involvement in the show, the work they do with the car clubs, and the fantastic car on offer that you could win!

2.30pm – Car Clubs Showcase

The second club showcase highlighting some of the cars that the exhibiting car clubs intended to display this year, with a mix of videos and photos.

3.00pm – Gilbert Michaelson’s Restoration Workshop

Usually found in the Restoration Workshop, the team from Gilbert Michaelson talk to Mike about the work they do, the most popular questions they get asked and the cars they restore.

3.30pm – HERO

HERO ERA explains how you can get started in rallying, the cars you can use, training available, and the events across the UK that will run in 2021.

4pm – Motoring Celebrity Chat

The stars of Discovery Channel’s top motoring shows come together to reminisce on their favourite memories of the show, give an update on the shows they’re filming and cause the usual mayhem.

4.30pm – The Big Finish

Mike Brewer is back with a live broadcast where he’ll give you the latest news from Silverstone Auctions, reveal the winner of the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership virtual competition, and announce how much money we’ve raised for the Sporting Bears.
