Kames Car Show
Members should have received an email or two letting you know what the arrangements for Kames are, but just in case you didn’t, here’s what you need to know:
All who wish to meet and travel to the show together in convoy should gather in the Lay-By on the A70 Muirkirk Road, just after the ‘Tom French Haulage Yard’ near Muirkirk (KA18 3NA) for around 8:15am ready to leave at 8:30am. If you wish to head straight to Kames Motorsport Complex, Muirkirk KA18 3QQ, you need to arrive there pre 9:00am.
All members attending should wear their club lanyard and membership badge to identify themselves to the organisers. The club has paid the entry fee so production of the lanyard will give you entry.
If you don’t yet have your lanyard etc, just show the organisers the badge in the email you received this morning / display it in your windscreen and then see Francis at the event for your lanyard / badge etc.
The show runs from 10:00am till 3:30pm

For your information, a road closure will be in place so see the below to make you aware.
A70 Glenbuck (by Glespin to Douglas) will be closed from Monksfoot to the East Ayrshire boundary from Monday 2 August to Monday 30 August to allow drainage, kerbing and resurfacing at Glenbuck Dam.We recommend you head to Muirkirk from Strathaven or Lugar/Cumnock side.
