Kames Car Show

Wasn’t it great to finally attend a Car Show?

Even the rain didn’t dampen our enthusiasm (although we were glad of the shelter of the club gazebo at times!)

Big congratulations go to the East Ayrshire Car Club & Scottish Old Skool for jumping through the considerable hoops that exist these days when trying to arrange events.  The day was brilliantly attended and supported by a great variety of local clubs and as always, there was a great spread of cars & vehicles – definitely something for everyone!

Congratulations also go to the various winners on the day:

?  Lanarkshire Classic Car Club who won ‘Best Club Stand’ (Sponsored by Scottish Old Skool)

?  David Scott who won ‘Car of the Show’ with his fabulous Ford Capri RS3100 (Sponsored by Ayrshire Classics Car Club).

?  Alan Galloway and his Opel Manta 400 who won ‘Best Classic’ (Sponsored by MG Caledonian Centre)

?  The 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe which won ‘Best Wheels’ (Sponsored by Modified Misfits)

?  Craig Drummond and his Holden who won ‘Best Modern Car’ (Sponsored by Central Scotland Subaru)

?  Tom Blackwood who won won ‘Best Rally Car’ with his Ford WRC (Sponsored by Jaguar Drivers Club)

Rather than the usual selection of photographs to recount the day, there is a video ‘walk round’ of the club displays for your enjoyment – There are some cracking vehicles to feast your eyes on!
