October Meeting

A last minute change of plan for this month!

We should have been enjoying Bill Petherick’s ‘Police Stories’ this month but he had to postpone due to a knee operation.  We wish him well and look forward to hearing his talk next year once he’s fighting fit again!

Stu has asked Tony Penman to step in and do a session on ‘How to use the Website’; something a few members have asked for over the last year.

To ensure the talk covers what you want it to, if you have any questions you want answered, just click ‘HERE’ to email Tony with them and they’ll be covered on the night.

It’s your website, so if you want to see something different on it or just want more (or less) of what’s already there, let us know either by clicking ‘HERE’ or mention it on the night.

The meeting will be at the usual location of Ford Hall, The Kingcase Church Hall, 11 Waterloo Road, Prestwick KA9 2AA.

It will run from 7:15pm to 9:30pm and all the Covid regulations mentioned last month will still be in force. There will however be tea & coffee !!!

We look forward to seeing you on the night.

In other news, as you may have read in Francis’s latest Newsletter, we have been invited back to Allloway Primary to form a display for the Primary 5’s as part of their topic on transport.

Last years visit was very well received and, weather aside, it was a very rewarding afternoon.

The visit will be on Friday, October 29th and we should be there for 13:20 with the P5’s being released at 13:30.  If you can make it along, please let Francis know by clicking ‘HERE’.
