Member Rob Davis has been in touch with news of a great scheme in South Ayrshire that some of our members may wish to avail themselves of – Details Below:

Hi Tony,

You might remember I mentioned that South Ayrshire Library members can access the PressReader online service for free.  It allows you to read a large selection of magazines and newspapers from around the world, and includes a good number of motoring magazines such as Practical Classics, Classic Car Weekly, Land Rover Owners etc as well as contemporary-car titles and other hobbies.
All you need to to do is obtain a library card and PIN which allows you to log into the PressReader app or website. No separate membership of that service is needed.
Perhaps club members might like to know. If you are not resident in S Ayrshire but have proof of workplace in the county you would also be eligible. Perhaps other areas also take part too.
Member Arnold Van De Brug was good enough to share some images of the Fathers Day trip to the Queens View Harbour Care Home visit which a number of our members were able to attend.  The residents were very appreciative of the vehicles and the time spent with them by our members.  You can see the post on their FaceBook page by clicking ‘HERE’
Everyone should now (at long last) have received their New Membership Cards and Lanyards if requested.
Once again, apologies for the delays!  If you need a new / additional lanyard, these can be collected free of charge from Tony at any club meeting or event, as can the plastic holders.
If you have spare holders, you can hand them in to Tony again, at any meeting or club event.
You can also have a new lanyard delivered to your door by covering the postage via our Club Shop. (Click ‘HERE’)
If you need to update any of your Membership / Vehicle details, you can do this via the ‘Members Only’ Page – Remember to sign in first!
Member Richard Stanley of Mr Towbar fame has shared some photos of his recent holiday in Devon where he came across Moretonhampstead Classic Car Museum.
Well worth a look!  Thanks Richard.
