Our Thursday run to Duns
You have heard the saying it’s a long way to Tipperary – well it’s a long way to Duns!
We set off from Coylton along with new member Mel Cree from Barrhill and what a lovely P4 ROVER he has!
Our first stop was Cairn Lodge for coffee then onto the Jim Clark Bistro for light lunch.
They had a nice welcome notice for us on the door. We had a nice plate of soup and a cheese scone and really good service.
Round the corner to the museum and a good two hours to look around. We jumped back in our cars and headed to Biggar to the Crown Hotel for high tea.
Lovely meal and we were well looked after.
It was a long but great day and I’m glad to be back home 🙂
