The centre of Glasgow will be the Scottish starting point for the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique and Classique on Wednesday, 29 January 2020. The rally cars will be flagged off from George Square opposite Glasgow City Chambers and is expected to be seen by thousands of visitors.
Banbury Control Point, 30 January 2020
Banbury will once again be the Control Point in England and the cars will start to arrive there on Thursday 30 January just before lunchtime.

For 2020 the Scottish Start of the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique & Classique will return to Glasgow, with the Start Ramp being given pride of place outside the City Chambers in George Square.
The Scottish Start will once again offer competitors the best experience of all the Start Towns with a warm welcome, Scottish hospitality and the noisiest and liveliest send off as the cars leave the Start Ramp. The first car will leave the Start Ramp at 7.00pm on Wednesday 29 January 2020 to the cheers of thousands of spectators.
A list of cars eligible to enter can be found in the regulations at Appendix V. Cars which competed in the Monte Carlo Rallyes between 1955 and 1980 will be considered. Decisions regarding the eligibility of cars is taken by the organizing club, the Automobile Club de Monaco, however the earlier the vehicle and more unusual are likely to be looked on more favourably. The Rallye is always over-subscribed, however competitors choosing the Glasgow Start are likely to be accepted.
